We’ve been privileged enough to have done a few Penguin book covers over the years and had some rad times doing them. Our latest additions are the crazy-sounding and totally awesome The Swordmaster’s Apprentice by Edward Burke and The Whipping Boy by the notorious Ben Trovato.
Both Swordmaster & Whipping Boy are available on Kalahari!
We’d just like to apologize for the severe lack of posts of late. If there was a hook, things would certainly be off of it. We’re going to rectify the situation starting… now!
Welcome to the box. Due to recent developments, we’ve moved our office from the harsh wasteland of Waterfall to the lush suburbia of Umgeni Rd. We’ve taken up residence in an office near the chaps at Wisdom & Youth. Good stuff!
Pros:
• Occasional free bread / spreads
• Cool people
• Rad work
Cons:
• Michelle works in Waterfall
• No natural sunlight
• If we run hard at the wall we’ll smash through the partition and fall 2 stories
Greg is off to America this weekend. Yay for him.
hope you have a great time well the rest of us bleed from our ears chap!
don’t schnack on too many wendy’s!
(ps this is not our own illustration, thanks to whoever did it)
So today is Greg’s birthday! Join is in wishing him a rather splendid day!
Cheers Greg!
Flipping heck. We’re Loeries 2011 finalists! Kev’s blood, sweat and tears on the beautiful Ardmore work has once again taken us to new heights and we couldn’t feel more blessed and thankful. To celebrate the moment we commemorated it with a vaguely familiar movie poster. Hold thumbs for us on the 16th of September!
This means a fair bit to us today….
So Greg is taking part of the ‘Our Lives of Deckadence’ exhibition tonight at Gallery 415, in Durban….go and check it out if you are around 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Here is a preview of Greg’s piece, we think it is rather splendid, nice one Greg.
All bubble wrapped and ready to go….hold thumbs (or anything else that you think might work) for us please chaps!
I went to a fantastic wedding this weekend past but (as it goes with weddings) there was quite a bit of time to kill. Hence some intense portraiture went down.
